Screecher a.k.a. Starscream，我們又愛又恨的這位狂派二當家終於在蒸氣系列現身了。

. 蒸氣系列＜Hearts of Steel＞，IDW在2006年的試驗小作，四期即止，直到今年才在大雜燴驚慄系列＜Infestation2＞小續兩回。總體劇情一般，多年後留下來為人記住的，只有執筆畫師Guido Guidi設定的一眾工業革命時代美型機體。

. 雖然19世紀末的時代背景不應出現飛行機械，但Guido還是扭曲了一下歷史，為Starscream(以至Seekers)畫了兩款複翼飛機設定：一款較為寫實，一款較為科幻。似乎Guido更偏好後者，將科幻的蝙蝠翼飛機帶進故事舞臺。但是，在Guido缺席的第3集，代班畫師Antonio Vasquez和Luis Czerniawski卻選用了前者。

. 令蒸氣系列延續生機的，除了不痛不癢的短篇漫畫，還有民間廠牌Mastermind Creations由開山至今不斷推出的Knight Morpher系列，不斷將機體零差別實物化，這也可算是迄今為止，TF漫畫獨佔設定的最好待遇了。今年4月1愚人節，MMC還拋出一張驟眼信以為真的三尺寸「原模圖」。

. 實際尺寸是約莫Voyager class左右，作為第三作，MMC又在各細節處理上再小進一步。我個人很喜歡包裝盒尤其是內膽所使用的紙質。

. 原版<Hearts of Steel>劇情一般，MMC亦乾脆展開自己的故事大系。同上回Cyclops一樣依然有隱隱的港漫味，但畫面則比上期靚出好多。故事透露未來餘下兩子與Screecher都各有輕微改模，而且還有Vehicon式的量產兵湧現。結尾更幽了歷史一默。

. 除紙品之外，Screecher還附有一排螺絲窿蓋。民間品不時總有這些貼心添頭。

. 要做到100%程度的還原，就無可避免的複雜。在今次V class相若的體積上更為精密。與近期同出的MP Lambor相比，Screecher可以算得上是另一款細化的Masterpiece。不同的是Lambor是轉換簡化思維的新MP(令我大讚，到時再講)，而Screecher則像是以前精密的舊MP(想想MMC名字也算與MP有相同的M字了)。

. Screecher選擇了Guido用於書中的科幻機設，輪廓尖銳再加一對蝙蝠翼，將其性格表現得更為淋漓盡致。機身較短，橫向發展，雙翼展開，甚有氣勢。

. 配合前作的鐵路軌，Screecher機底反下四輪亦可在上面滑行。

. 對的，Screecher並不適合粗玩，太多細件，玩時要多份小心。

TRANSFORM!
. 保證兩個模式下都高分還原絕不是易事，變型系統的複雜也超出了我預算，除了要小心呵護精細的部件，有幾處是需要必須精準到位。

. MMC還在雙肩以及大腿安排了聯動點綴，挑戰進一步的精細。

. Screecher高度實際只是較接近V class，不過一對機翼令其橫向加分。而其精密度則是V class所無法企及，在肩、腿、膝等關鍵關節皆用上了齒輪。

. 在僅僅6mm寬的面相中完美刻畫出Starscream慣有的俊俏和狡黠，雙眼神氣透光，輪廓清晰分明。兩側的耳鰭在變形時還可以折起。

. 單純部件分布已是豐富，再加佈滿全身凸現工業時代風格的鉚釘裝飾細節滿載。身材比例美型，唯略嫌雙肩位置稍稍低了一點。沒錯，腰刀！不知當時Guido是否受了同年推出的MP03的相互影響。

. 可動出色，雙手和雙腿活動幅度極大，再加扭腰、接地這些增值配備，Screecher可以扭出不少合其味道的動作。當雙翼展開，充滿魔王與吸血鬼之味，從天而降。

. 腰刀真的是刀！這是Guido設定之外的新創。拆下時定要再控制好多一點用力的尺度。

. 對這套KM系的評價已不停留於好玩與否。講玩，它們絕不好玩，或者應該講絕不易玩(但又沒有如Alternity Starscream般挑戰你耐性的難搞，多份貼心呵護即可)。換另一角度，將Guido Guidi的蒸汽系設定雙模式100%全還原，如此程度即使官牌亦寥寥無幾，選擇與否，視乎你對蒸汽系有多著迷了。

. 餘下二子，除了顏色、除了手炮，我還期待他倆有別於今次的狡黠、各自有一個兇狠、一個尊嚴的表情。
