<TF Prime>第三季定名"Beast Hunters"，引入龍族Predacon，本來以為通季野獸大戰，結果眞正登場的祗有那麼一位，雷聲大雨點小，這也是整個TFP的特色。更諷刺是，在商品化上那位光棍司令又是一眾Predacon之中最不吸引的。

眞正外形上有點看頭的，倒是其他沒有機會登場的角色。渾身肌肉弧線，後背一雙巨翼，變身鳥頭巨獸"Ursagryph"，加上吸引的V class尺寸，未見實物祗看玩評，這隻Grimwing已很合我眼緣，唯獨一身過份的綠色大煞了風景，我當時有想，如果孩寶他日改個靚色再出，必入。

結果物盡其用的孩寶滿足了我的願望。時隔未久，Beast Hunter線之外再生分支"Predacons Rising"，Grimwing換上一身類似Dreadwing的藍灰配色，正中我下懷。螢幕外的二線角色再改色，帶著幾可等同路人甲的新名字，這款Darksteel沒甚背景好講，直接用新顏色去招攬像我這種對原色祗差一步之遙的人。

孩寶講明現在的設計不要複雜，所以最近兩年間的出品的變形編排都簡易許多，這批Predacons，更是直白的趴地變形。兩個形態的手手腳腳完全不作任何轉換，僅僅利用身軀的拉伸縮短以及四肢外形的小微調來平衡兩副外形的比例，因此獸形能夠挑剔的地方多多。除了變形簡化，像雙翼竟然不能展開這些惱人的偷懶處理也是現在變形金剛經常出現的情況。機械人雙眼沒有用上傳統反派的紅色，我明白是不想與面部混淆，但這藍色也未免太失靈性。重新塗上金色之後，配合原本已經兇狠的面相、以及就像是積了一肚怒氣的臉色，出來的效果非常凶神惡煞。

Darksteel最大的問題就是人型上身非常的鬆散，收起鳥頭之後，從兩側向內收合的上身並沒有任何扣位固定，搖搖曳曳很是心煩，摺疊的部位又容易鬆出，肩位的轉盤又與胸部的鳥頸互撞干擾，扭一個pose散架一次，搞得我也幾乎"憤怒鳥"！最咋舌的是，如果按照說明書將鳥頭完全收入胸腹的話會更為鬆散，建議乾脆將鳥咀露出，反而會有多少改善，身形比例也更協調。手持的鳥頭槍在設定上竟也是個獨立角色，鷹咀可開可合"咬"著一把可發射的巨鉗。獸型時亦可"騎"於Darksteel背上。

Darksteel之後，第三隻色出自日系同期系列"参乗合体"四鬼眾之一：Budora。雖然此模玩得極爲不爽，但東洋鬼面的改模又好吸引，眞矛盾。
