Maketoys有意在保持队形协调的基础上，尽量将这五人往不同的方向发展。打比方，在变形铺排上涵盖了如Blindfire的直白以至Sonicdrill的扭拧；而角色设定，亦既有Metalstorm般的尽量还原G1外形，也有如今回Overheat的放开手脚，将旧形象抛诸脑后。

Overheat原则上是对应Afterburner，但除了保留变形作科幻电单车这一基本属性(连车型也大颠覆)，几可完全视作不同人物，让我想起来年孩宝自家合体大作战的空派，Alpha Bravo取代了阵亡的Slingshot。G1还原党或许意见最大，但Overheat却是最合我口味的那杯茶——无他，造型、手感以至体验、变形铺排、难易度对我而言皆恰到好处。对于角色设定的过度改变，私不太以为然，IDWverse连载也出现了大量颠覆的演变，时代变思维也在变才能延续作品的生命火花，而且更重要是越变越有味。

电单车型有点Tron的味道，流线外轮廓，车头透明件之下露出内构纹路。与Tron不同的是，Overheat的车身下段露出大量机械细节来表达"内涵"，避免过于电子科幻，简洁得与其他四子不相衬。电单车可重装外挂弹匣以及长枪，倒似是没有预留任何驾驶位置。

变形的铺排让我感觉良好，尤其人变车时扭扭折折之后又能利用拳孔作固定的巧妙安排，还有机械人头部保持处于车身上方并能做到前向一致的合理表现。复杂系数为五子的中间位置，脚板的连接轴利用胶料的韧性来解锁旋转一度教我惊心动魄，后来和一位从事玩具业的朋友讨论这个处理，他推断胶件为PA6尼龙塑料。PA6的韧性非常强，就算在最坏情况出现白痕也不容易折断，Maketoys才够胆做出如此安排。当然我也没因此而刻意去以身试法，但会放心变多几次。

Overheat与Afterburner形同二人，但极有如今高人气的IDW<MTMTE>角色味道，彷如古灵精怪的Lost Light其中一员，甚至我大胆觉得他与同为橙色的Rung颇有兄弟相，对于我这个MTMTE迷，整个外形皆十分钟意。双手略微短了少少，加上后轮一分为二变成Overheat的圆饼肩甲、车头屈折而成的小腿甲等等恐会阻碍活动的部件布满上下身，但Overheat的关节却有效避免了可动受阻的情形发生，保证活力十足。Overheat可谓是火力强化版本的心理医生(如果你也同意我对他和Rung的兄弟相说法)，步鎗加上一对重形肩炮，重装之下仍旧可动无阻。肩炮再与步枪组成巨锤，令到这个出色的家伙进一步锦上添花，可惜我影相时忘形过度，没有将锤头扭转过来。

种种方面，皆让我认为Overheat是整套Quantron Team最心头好一作，不枉我作为压轴推介，口味对极了！
