Megatron is for a fact the Mad Max semi in TF3. I can send you more behind the scenes pictures from a storage facility where all the vehicles were kept while in Chicago. My father in law who works for a special effects company in Chicago was one of a group whose job it was as he said Michael Bay states "make this truck look more demented." Also not sure if it is known or not but Patrick Dempsey’s Character is a super Billionaire computer expert, who helps the transformers buy building additional ones to help. Those NASCAR transformers are not partially transformed those are ones he created, along with he "power glove" we have seen Sam wearing.
It turns out that Washington, DC will not be the last stop in Stateside filming for Transformers 3. An email was sent out to Johnson Space Center employees looking for 130 extras for filming to occur on Saturday, October 16th. In addition, the announcement verifies that there is a definite late-1960s Apollo space mission angle to the plot as extra's will be costumed to fit the era's style. This is an official email from Building 30 Facility Management
WANTED: Male extras for Paramount’s “Transformers 3” movie
Paramount is seeking to cast approximately 130 non-speaking parts for the role of Apollo Mission Control Flight Controllers and NASA officials. Filming is on Saturday, Oct. 16th. Casting is for Johnson Space Center team members only within the Mission Operations Directorate (MOD) – must have current CAA access into Building 30 Mission Control. Those cast will be compensated by Paramount at $64 per 8 hours, with lunch provided.
For this scene depicting an Apollo moon landing, Paramount is looking for males over 25 years of age who are willing to be outfitted in a period costume and have haircuts from the late 1960s.

"While filming "[Transformers] 3" in front of the Capitol in D.C., director Michael Bay shoots a scene in which a "CNN reporter" broadcasts news that Congress has acted quickly to pass legislation that exile Autobots from American soil."

TMZ is reporting that Transformers 3 has been cleared in the accident that occurred in Hammond, Indiana. The accident led to a significant head injury to extra Gabriela Cedillo. Sadly they also reveal she is paralyzed on left side of her body. No details beyond that nor an update on the lawsuit which will probably take a while to get sorted out.
A rep for the Indiana Occupation Safety and Health Administration tells TMZ ... an investigation into the September 1 accident -- in which a tow cable snapped and sliced through Gabriella Cedillo's skull -- concluded that producers operated by the book in coordinating the fateful stunt.
Instead, IOSHA tells TMZ the accident occurred "due to the failure of a weld connecting a car to a cable. The weld was made by a certified welder and all necessary safety precautions were in place."
The IOSHA rep added, "No citations or fines will be issued. This was an unfortunate and unforeseeable accident."
Update: TMZ has posted a follow-up to the article with a comment from the family on the state's conclusions which came down to "sh@% happens."
The family claims, "The mere fact that the welding was performed by a 'certified welder' ... does not in any way suggest that the weld was performed properly." The family continues, "In fact the evidence is clear that it was done in a slip-shod fashion."
The statement concludes, "It is completely irresponsible for even a local government bureaucrat to rush to such sloppy conclusions."
This statement clearly comes from the family lawyers for the lawsuit as a means of PR control (in case goes to a jury). An OSHA investigation just verifies that rules and regulations were followed. The level of craftmanship is not really OSHA's jurisdiction, something like that would have to be handled as part of the lawsuit.

It's not going to be written into the script for the sake of decency. You don't put accidents into your movies, not kosher.

Okay folks.. I've had some spare time lately and things seem to have died down from the Iceman issues people were having so I bring you possibly HUGE news...
As many know, I had been living in FL from '07 to '09. I met many great people and several of them were just working on TF3 as extras or local crew. Well more than one of them has shared a rumor they heard during filming.
Earth's moon is said to be none other than Unicron!
Now if this proves true, then Bay has made up for TF2 completely. And I will for damn sure being seeing it in IMAX 3D...
Thoughts??
