Michael Bay, director of Transformers, has updated his blog with news that the extra two minutes of footage to be featured in the IMAX version of the movie (out this Friday, September 21st) will never be featured on any home video releases. This includes the upcoming DVD and HD-DVD releases on October 16th in the US. Bay states on his blog that there will never be an extended edition of the movie.
