The Reading Eagle has interviewed Peter Cullen, the voice of Optimus Prime in both the original cartoon series and more recently, the live action Movie. Peter Cullen reports that he has already begun work on recording dialog for Optimus Prime in the new movie.

...we did some of the opening dialogue, the opening speech and then a couple of scenes with Shia LaBeouf.

He goes on to mention that Optimus Prime will be getting more screen time in the sequel, which is in part thanks to the financial success of the 2007 movie.

配音一般都是在动画组作前期工作（建模、设置等）的时候就开始了，配完后才能做动画；
不只是因为口型，最重要的是时间。人物的表情以致全身的一举一动也要配合配音的节奏
当然如果配的只是旁白而不是角色对白，自然就没所谓了

所以，根据这个去推算，如果制作组的保密工作没有比上次严密，我们也该快看到真正的设定稿流出了~~~
