Seibertron.com has learned of some breaking news regarding the injury sustained by Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen star Shia LaBeouf. Slashfilm.comis reporting that the young actor may have to have a finger amputated from his injured hand that he received during an accident he had recently.
According to the report, Shia called the producers of the Transformers sequel to inform them that his pinky finger may have to be removed due the immense damage it suffered during his July 27th vehicular accident. Director Michael Bay has already stated that filming around the injury has been an effort and we can only imagine the amount of havoc having to work around this new development would bring.
Several websites were reporting a made up story yesterday that the gossip magazine Star Magazine had posted on their website. LaBeouf's rep is shooting down the report claiming the 22-year-old actor informed his Transformers producers that he needed to have his pinky finger amputated. It's a "completely fabricated story," LaBeouf publicist Melissa Kates tells E! News. In cases like this you need to consider the source.
