A few days ago, we reported that a year of release had been set for the sequel to Transformers. ComingSoon.net is reporting that Paramount Pictures has now set a release date of June 26, 2009 for the heavily anticpated sequel. Besides this release date, the only other details known are that Steven Speilberg will return as executive producer and that Michael Bay is set to return as director.
